What we'll cover

  • Safeguarding against disaster situations, both natural and man-made
  • Ensuring you and your team can work from anywhere
  • Locking down your data so that attackers can't steal your private information, even when employees are working outside the office
  • What software can help you communicate better, both internally and externally
  • How to transition from in-person to online appointments and consultations
  • Any of your questions!

Why should you attend?

As of 2019, Texas adopted the Ethical Duty of Technology Competence for lawyers. As stated in the American Bar Association Model Rule 1.1, “to maintain the requisite knowledge and skill, a lawyer should keep abreast of changes in the law and its practice, including the benefits and risks associated with relevant technology, engage in continuing study and education, and comply with all continuing legal education requirements to which the lawyer is subject.”

Not staying up to date with relevant technology can get you in trouble with both this rule and your clients. Data breaches and other issues can lead to fines and even the loss of your practice.

This webinar will help you stay in line with legal technology regulations, and ensure you can prove that your firm is doing all it can to protect and serve its clients.
